Palkki (2015) uses his literature to convey the importance that choral teachers do need to examine avenues for better serving their Latino/a population. After further establishing this point, the article moves on to show further research that music education is not currently serving this group of students; furthermore, efforts regarding â€Å"multicultural music education† are not effectively reaching students as teachers need to take a step further (Pallki 2015). Thus, Palkki (2015) comes to his final point in the literature review of â€Å"culturally relevant music education† (Palkki, 2015, p. 4).
